The Journey to Joy

There are way too many of us living beneath our means, our potential, our permission, and our access. We've allowed our insecurities to identify us and serve as excuses which keep us from moving forward for far too long, and it ends now. Defeating Distractions, Delays, & Disappointments

I think one of the hardest things about starting a new year is the realization of how much work you have left to accomplish on the goals that continue to linger from the past. It doesn’t make it any easier when you criticize yourself for not having moved beyond it. When the new year strikes, it can feel counterproductive to work on old goals when everyone is so consumed over the newness of the opportunities ahead. It’s times like those that often lead us to question whether we’ll continue to deal with the same distractions, delays, and disappointments in the future, and that is where I come in.

I know I am not the only one who has second guessed something God placed on your heart to do. We could allow fear to stifle our faith and we could become stagnant, but we could also trust that God knows us better than we give Him credit for. He created us to love: to love Him, to love others, to love ourselves, and to love this crazy amazing calling.
